ABOUT PRODUCT

The classic vibrator is an inseparable part of the Whoop.de.doo line. With three vibration motors positioned throughout the body of the vibrator, it delivers an intense experience along its entire length with plenty of natural flexibility. Simple raised plus and minus pictograms in the silicon surface indicate the controls without interrupting the compact design.

On the outside, the Whoop.de.doo products are very simple in appearance. On the inside, however, they house a highly intelligent mechanism complete with controls and power source neatly concealed beneath a layer of white silicon. The silicon covering and sophisticated charging method mean the Whoop.de.doo erotic and relaxation playthings are entirely waterproof and, most importantly, 100% hygienic. Using them is not only pleasant – it can also be very beneficial to health.

THE WORLD’S FIRST TATTOOED VIBRATOR – THE WHOOP.DE.DOO THE WHOOP.DE.DOO VIBRATOR WITH ORIGINAL ARTWORK BY MUSA

Whoop.de.doo prepared a real treat for this year’s Designblok – the special limited MUSA edition. This time designer Anna Maresova, founder of the intimate Whoop.de.doo brand of erotic toys for women, collaborated with artist Lukas Musil, a.k.a. MUSA. The combination of his delicate artwork and the clean design of the Whoop.de.doo Vibrator by Anna Maresova has given rise to a special edition of erotic toys.

Each Vibrator will feature a drawing created by Lukas specifically for the special edition. In addition to the Vibrator, customers will also be able to purchase the original drawings that provided the templates and base motifs for the individual products.

And when asked why he agreed to the collaboration, Lukas Musil answers with a mysterious grin and then says: “It was curiosity. The opportunity to try and provide not only visual satisfaction was exceptional and unrepeatable. The act of providing satisfaction and evoking reactions is an integral part of my work, and in collaboration with Anna, that is with her Vibrators, it all takes on a new dimension. I’m very pleased.”

Designer Anna Maresova is thrilled about the collaboration: “I went to Lukas because I have an affinity with his work. Lukas is also very well known for the unique tattoos that he does, which at one point just about everyone had to have. And that’s where I made the connection – I simply wanted a Vibrator tattooed by MUSA. Then I realized it would be better to make use of his drawing, which is utterly unique, delicate, and very intimate. It’s worked fantastically in combination with our erotic toys. And I must admit, we all had a lot of fun working on this, and that comes through loud and clear in the final product. We’ve perfected every last detail all the way down to the original black and white boxes. Our customers really have something special to look forward to.”

Lukas Musil, a.k.a. MUSA, is an artist and former tattoo artist working in Prague and Budapest. Just as he once conducted dialogues with his clients about their tattoos, today he conducts symbolic, internal discussions with the beings that arise from the strokes of his pencil, brush, and cans of spray paint. MUSA makes use of drawing, typefaces, segments of texts, and symbols and combines them all in the space of his distinctive language with an accent of a line, an image that creates the impression of incessant quivering, vibration, and turns symbols into messages and statements into inspiration.

MUSA’s work has been presented in the group exhibitions Tatouers, tatoués (2015, Musée du Quai Branly, Paris) and Blackout v Altamiře (2016, Galerie Pro arte, Prague) as well as in the individual exhibitions Musa (2015, Aleš South Bohemian Gallery in Hluboká nad Vltavou), Musa vs. Jágr (2016, Galerie Pro arte, Prague) and Signatura (2017, Galerie Mánes, Prague). He also works in scenography and book illustration.
